An urban transplant from Los Angeles, Beckman explores the habits
and activities associated with his recent five years in Eastern
Washington through an installation of photo-based media and
video. Guns, motocross and rodeo are just a few of the themes
examined in the first part of a series focused on rural culture
and stereotypes.
