Patricia Hagen
Schema
June 7 – July 1, 2007 Opening Reception:
5-8pm
First Thursday, June 7, 2007
Patricia Hagen’s new body of work furthers her exploration
of modular growth patterns and inter-related systems that are
evident in nature on several different scales. She continues
to search for the visual language to describe the world’s
order and chaos, life and death, by looking at cancer cells,
bacteria, viruses, bodily organs, plant forms, and geologic
formations. Hagen strives for glimpses of the “big picture”
by studying the interaction of the base elements of that picture.
Hagen received her MFA from California College of the Arts in
1994 and relocated to Seattle in 2001, where she has since shown
at Bryan Ohno Gallery and SAM rental/sales gallery. Her work
was featured in the 2006 Pacific Coast edition of New American
Painting.
Hours: Noon-5pm Friday-Sunday, or
by appointment.
