Harmony Acres
July 5 - 29, 2007 Opening Reception:
5-8pm
First Thursday, July 5, 2007 Artist Talk:
2pm on Saturday, July 7, 2007
PUNCH presents new egg tempera paintings by Nathan DiPietro.
Exploring the green fields and blue skies of ‘Harmony
Acres,’ this series presents idyllic landscapes dotted
with pastoral communities and miles of pristine woodland recalling
images of yesteryear. It’s a picture perfect setting in
which to raise a family and bask in the bounties of country
living. DiPietro’s intricate, stylized and vibrant paintings
critique contemporary living in relation to utopianism, with
inspiration from classical icon painting and American Regionalism.
DiPietro received his BFA from Central Washington University
in 2003 and moved to Santa Fe, NM. He has since returned to
Washington to live in Seattle and shows locally and nationally.
He has studied with the contemporary tempera painter Koo Schadler
and Italian iconographer Father Gianluca Busi.
PUNCH also proudly announces the first in a series of artist

DiPietro describe his technical processes and conceptual ideas:
First Saturday Art-talk: July 7, 2007 at 2pm
Hours: Noon-5pm Friday-Sunday, or
